C&C was difficult not because of good AI or interesting tactical puzzles, but due to poor usability. With modernized interface, it’s a walk in the park, and will be enjoyable only as long as nostalgia lasts.

Know the difference between remaster and remake, because you end up looking like a retard. Remaster is usually up-scaled graphics, its improvements like UI and better sound quality, you got that here and much, much more that didn't have to be in a remaster. But there is. You get additional un-lockable bonuses, console missions, custom maps and mods ready to instant download, customisable soundtrack play-list and ability to switch between remastered graphics and sounds. Lastly you get all of command and conquer (including console missions), red alert and all their expansions for just 20€ / 20$. Price, quality and minor bugs (that i only heard of because i didn't encounter them) are worth this money. This is perfect remaster that you can get. Nice job Petroglyph games, lemonsky studios and it hurts to say after recent games but, good job EA. 10/10

But other than this little issues, I'm pretty happy.They game is a faithful remaster of the original, with bonus content galore and modern quality of life features. They did a great job up-scaling the original videos, the will not win any awards, but for what they had to work with it is impressive. The soundtrack is amazing and graphically there is a clear upgrade while not throwing out the original style or feel (zoom in if you want to see more detail).At $20 bucks, this is well worth the money. 2 Complete games and all associated DLC are included. They even went and included content from the console version of the games that PC players originally did not have access to. Plus, the team worked with the community to create the remaster. So if you want a true "remaster" of a classic, and not a "re-imagining", grab this game and see how other companies should do it...

This remaster is a winner. It’s a stellar package, and hopefully a template for what is to come. The minor shortcomings are all due to the age of this title – but this is an old game. You have to take it for what it is – a glorious little piece of history. In presenting that, this is a practically flawless release – but the old-fashioned, less friendly design in places will mean this one isn’t quite for everyone.

Command & Conquer: The Remastered Collection gathers up every conceivable ounce of content from the first two games in the series and gives it a full makeover, resulting in a collection that feels holistic, modern, and true to its roots. It has some wrinkles that add an asterisk, but only just that much. This is Command & Conquer, not just how you remember it back then, but how you'll want to remember it years from now.
