I thought those died back in 2012 or something. Guess I was wrong. Shallow gameplay, horrible PS2 like graphics, nonsensical plot with uninteresting side characters, buggy and unpolished as hell. Do I need to say more?
Fast and Furious Crossroads is a disappointing game from an experienced studio like Slightly Mad. Low production values, an absurd driving model and a very short story make it very hard to suggest anyone playing it.
The creators of Project CARS won’t want to remember this failure. The story in the exact mould of the movies is fine, but the graphics are woeful, the environments aren’t much better, the missions are boring and worst of all, the driving just isn’t fun.
Overall, Fast & Furious: Crossroads is a fabulous celebration of the sloppy, sometimes-inexplicable dumbness, sometimes-inspired madness of the films it shares a name with, and I loved every minute of it.
Fast & Furious Crossroads is quite similar to the associated movies. Both have the same voice actors, a couple of nice action sequences and a shitload of issues: Poorly written dialogue, a story full of plotholes and unlikeable characters combined with imprecise car controls make the game an unappealing mess.

But sadly after Fast & Furious Crossroads released almost nobody realized that it's actually existed due to poor advertising of a game not worthy of the franchise name. Despite the fact that Fast & Furious is a big thing in movie sector this game was a total disaster .I've never seen a worse car driving mechanics plus the expectation that people had and us was so much more than this. I really had much higher expectations especially given the large price of admission, hopefully the season pass and updates along the way improve the overall experience this could have been for Xbox gamers.and when we faced with a game that has almost no graphics and mechanics are nothing like car themed game well normallyall of us disappointed .A generic car heist video game starring Dom, Letty, and Roman does not a Fast & Furious experience make. Crossroads is not irredeemable, and on occasion even shows promise, but ultimately remains an unexciting endeavour. With the great talent showcased both on-screen and behind-the-scenes, Crossroads is very much another mediocre release wrapped around one of Hollywood's most video-game-friendly licenses.
Crucially, the driving itself just isn't fun, resulting in a bland experience interchangeable with any other street racing franchise.
With dreadful driving controls, insufficient content and an egregious price tag, it’s hard to recommend Fast & Furious Crossroads to anyone unless you are a die-hard Fast & Furious fan. Even then, wait for a steep sale.
Fast & Furious Crossroads is one of the worst games I've played this year and possibly the worst game of the generation. Even if you are a fan of the movie franchise, you should definitely stay away from this awful experience.
The biggest sin that Crossroads commits is being boring; a sad take for a franchise that is definitively not. Whether you like the series or not, you can’t argue that the films are almost always bombastic and entertaining, whereas here it’s just really uninteresting and flat, doing both the Fast and Furious franchise and driving games both a disservice. There are some bad licensed games out there that I could still recommend to the hardcore fans out of love for the series but Fast and Furious Crossroads is so bad that only the absolute die-hard fans will get any enjoyment out of this one. And even then, you may want to strongly reconsider this stain on an otherwise loved franchise.
Even though the presentation is decent, the game is a disappointment – mainly due to the outright weird driving physics as well as technical shortcomings.

Don't spend 60 dollars on this abysmal game. I would be insulated if someone was to say it looks like an Xbox 360 game when it comes to the backgrounds. The character models were mediocre at best and it seems as if all of the budget was spent on getting the actors to voice in this game. It is an obvious cash grab on an already over done franchise and should never be played
Fast and Furious Crossroads can't be recommended even to fans, as it fails to justify its $ 60 price tag since it looks like a game from the past generation, and even this comparison is unfair.
Very very good! Fast and furious game! the gameplay is very good, the graphics looks awesome and the dubbing is master piece, good plot!
Fast & Furious Crossroads just can't get anything right, becoming yet another licensed movie tie-in that fits the negative stereotype. The presentation is dated and actors reprising their roles is but a small consolation. A brief and very linear campaign with poor gameplay offers terrible value for a full priced release. The PC version suffers further, with empty multiplayer, instability, and barely any options.
The mechanic of switching between different cars with different skills/gadgets was cool, but there wasn't enough of it. and the game feltThe mechanic of switching between different cars with different skills/gadgets was cool, but there wasn't enough of it. and the game felt Rushed, Some of the game designs just left me questioning, "how did this cost $60?"This aint a console game. this is an arcade game that you'd play at Chuck E. Cheese or Dave n Busters.1.) in-game engine cutscenes were low quality, and i experienced some fps drop, choppiness... character models were fine, but the background stuff looked like stuff from GTA san andreas.Backgrounds looked lifeless, except for that one cutscene at the theme park with the flags and a few birds in the sky.2.) Car handling was weird, its not predictable. kinda Arcadey. NO speedometer or tach..its not a racing game, its a story-driven game. like a telltale game, and "racing" is just filler content.3.) just odd designs, like idk what the purple smoke represented, and blue and purple arrows.... cmon, how am i supposed to see what direction im supposed to turn. expect to pinball your way through a track...box trucks and ambulances look like ramps from far away. Markers are placed oddly, and sometimes hard to see, especially when camouflaged on the ground.4.) Multiplayer is nonexistent. u need exactly 9 ppl to play a game online, like why couldnt they just make it 3 ppl and the rest are AI....what i think happened is that they spent most of the budget on the voice acting and not enough on the actual gameplay. and even if that was the case, they couldve gotten sponsorships like most racing games. And if they needed help from big bro, they couldve asked codemasters for some help... No attention to detail. unpolished. embarrassing. and ballsy move releasing this trainwreck right before Project Cars3...
Another deeply disappointing Fast & Furious game that’s all the more upsetting because of the obvious talent it wastes in terms of both developer and cast.
THIS Game is awful the controls are clunky the graphics are awful the recommended specs are a RTX 2080 WTF. Probably they had a tight budget
That's why I mostly love Fast & Furious Crossroads. I do think there's something questionable about it being a full-price release, and I do think the engaging multiplayer content (which I'll detail in a separate feature) will likely die on the vine thanks to that. But what's here is a sumptuous feast for franchise fans and adrenaline junkies alike - more than enough to whet your appetite for next year's F9.
I am from Russia and I use Google translator, I apologize if the text is not correct somewhere.I'm not an ardent fan of the FF franchise,I am from Russia and I use Google translator, I apologize if the text is not correct somewhere.I'm not an ardent fan of the FF franchise, but I enjoyed watching and revisiting these films. And I spent 5 hours with pleasure in the storyline of this game. I really liked the game. It was like I took part in an FF movie. And it was amazing, I went through the company in one breath. This is an interesting experience, arcade, but quite comfortable and enjoyable gameplay. Now I'll go through the game in more detail:- The gameplay is arcade racing with obstacles and goals, everything is in the spirit of FF, you are a mega cool character, the rest are nothing. The cars have weapons, each has its own. In the course of the game there will be street races, and chases for villains, and chases from the police, and everything is mixed at once.- The graphics for the arcade racing game are good, all the detail priorities are correct. This is not a walker in the open world, where you can look at every leaf, this is a race at breakneck speeds where you have to fight and achieve the task on your iron horse.- Physics. Physics is all in the FF style and that says it all.- The world of the game. This is a tunnel race in an almost open world, but it is not particularly striking, since you are free to choose one of several paths to the goal. With the exception of some locations, in which, according to the plot, the action takes place along a long straight line. And besides, this is the world of FF, enjoy the crazy action.- Sound and music. For me, everything is just super, the compositions are great, the soundtrack is appropriate and blends well with the atmosphere of what is happening on the screen. The sound effects, of course, are not top notch if you listen, but in a hot pursuit you will not pay attention to it, everything is fine here too.- Bugs. Yes, they are, they are small and most I noticed only when replaying. Although, a couple of pieces caught my eye during the first playthrough, but they are absolutely harmless, especially in comparison with how big companies screw up, such as EA or Bethesda. In general, bugs do not interfere with playing absolutely. The game never crashed or freezed. I have nothing to say about the optimization, on my hardware the game ran at maximum settings without problems.- Management. There won't be any problems on consoles. The controls in the game are simple and pleasant. The only problem is, if you play on PC, it would be nice to have an Xbox gamepad. Because the keyboard and mouse controls are just disgusting by default. Perhaps I am blind and did not understand how to remap the keys in the settings, so I just took the gamepad from Xbox one.- Online. The idea is very interesting. Two teams (heroes and bandits) compete with each other, something like the king of the hill in cars, and the third (police) must neutralize them all to the last. Each team has three players. There is one minus here and very fat, online is almost dead, if not completely dead.Yes, the game has both disadvantages. But seriously, which game doesn't have them? To summarize, the game is good. I enjoyed spending a couple of evenings in it. I relaxed enjoying the simple and fun gameplay. I watched a simple but interesting and brutal story (hello to the FF franchise). I was furious, replaying some of the points in the game. I was very surprised by a couple of plot twists. And if you measure it by money, then for a couple of evenings relaxing in restaurants, cafes or somewhere else hanging out with family and friends, I will spend the same amount as the game costs.
With dreadful controls, no map of where to go, nor any in-game speedo to see how fast you are going, Fast & Furious Crossroads on Xbox One is a massive let down. Online is messy at best, and while the storyline is a corker, the way that every mission seems to play out the same, just in a different place, makes me sad.
Many of us lived through the era of video games that was overflowing with bad movie-to-game adaptations, and Crossroads is a pointed reminder of those days, showing just how far games have come since then. It’s a mess of a game that hones in on why the Fast movies are great, but will make you want to put the controller down to watch one of those movies instead.
