Little Nightmares II レビュー&レーティング
Little Nightmares II delivers a terrible experience. Terrible has retained the connotation of something bad, but it can also mean inspiring fear, dread, and awe. It's clear that's what Tarsier Studios was going for: an experience in delving through a terrible darkness. That experience is not terrifying, not scary, but creeping disquiet. An unsettling experience. Best of all, though, that experience is memorable. Those who have the opportunity to experience this best version should do so. The world and its presentation are huge highlights, and this gives a shine of polish to enhance that. It's just a shame it clocks in at such a short runtime, and leaves so many questions left unanswered. Even heading back to see it all still offers a short playtime. The world of Little Nightmares deserves a third entry to explain it all. Hopefully, one day it will get one.

Global ambiance is well worked, the artistic direction is neat, and graphics are above the first opus (light/ shadow work and "TV grain" mainly). The game is a bit short if you paid the full price but it still is good one.
Great platformer. I liked the atmospheric vibe of suspense/mystery of the game, as well as the well-paced gameplay sections and narrative.

The gameworld is beautiful and in a way you wish you can explore the pale city but in a way you don‘t want to (trust me you don‘t want to come across the teacher:)) The only negative point I can think of is the lenght of the game but all in all it is a beautiful game which I very much recommend!

Game is also scripted (Example: I need to press button on wall, I can't take bottle and stand on it. Game wants that you will go on top of cupboard and get a bottle with brain inside, than you will break it and throw brain into the button). Another problems, that some enemies will catch you with 100% guarantee. + Hitboxes are bad, sometimes I teleported in enemie's arms but they didn't caught me. This game has more locations than LN 1 (Forest, city, school, hospital) and it is longer. So it is more boring than LN 1 because of length ( I mean some logic exercises are stuffy). So it is a good game but it isn't a very good sequel.

The controls could get frustrating at points, but not enough to keep me from playing and seriously enjoying this game. I could play it several times over (and I have started it again), which shows you how unhindered I am about the controls.

Have you ever had that feeling that you absolutely know what you're supposed to do and you know exact buttons you should press, but you still fail to progress? If not you'll get it here. Character is quite slow to react to input and most important parts of the require you to move quickly.Camera angles? Nah, just one angle that often doesn't work.Fighting? Why does it even exist in this type of game? Some of the enemies you hit every time, the others are on a completely different timing and you'll miss and die.As for dying - do I REALLY need to be sitting and stuck in the animation for 3-4 seconds after each infuriating death due to controls? Not being able to quickly try again makes you want to throw your gamepad into a wall.Spare yourself and watch some lets play, you'll enjoy the game a lot more
Little Nightmares II captures the fear of a being little in a grey, hostile and oppressive world that is exceptionally built. In a constant game of hide-and-seek, the tension is overwhelming, and you feel the weight of every heartbeat or the desperate gasping of enemies over your shoulder. Unfortunately, it's a short experience, much along the lines of the first in the series, and although it doesn't completely eliminate the weak points, it grabs on to its strong points in a sublime way.

Each level as you felt different and added another layer onto this world. The ending we did not expect at all and we even went and got the secret ending and it is worth it. I hope that trasior studios puts as much work that they did into Little Nightmares into there next Project since they are done with Little Nightmares
Little Nightmares II is a suspense-adventure game in which you play as Mono, a young boy trapped in a world that has been distorted
The deaths caused by the controls being notas responsive as we’d like may annoy, butthere’s a whole world out there you’re goingto want to feast your eyes on.
While everyone is waiting for technically advanced 9th generation games, Little Nightmares 2 steals the show with its beautiful art design, jaw-dropping story and unique gameplay and atmosphere.
For a horror, this is an oddly beautiful game filled with gorgeous scenes and amazing detail. Even though it is a sequel, it gives it's own interesting storyline that matches the original without being a copy.
Little Nightmares II successfully creates a series of titles that pair up splendidly. Through masterful environmental storytelling and world-building, Tarsier Studios steps up to the likes of Limbo and Inside to invoke a creepy, horror experience that will force its way into your memories. Even with some frustrating sequences and some perspective clunkiness, Little Nightmares II gets a helping hand with all the other ways it exemplifies the genre.
Little Nightmares II is more of what fans enjoyed in the first installment. It's a terrific blend of evenly spaced platforming combined with environmental object manipulation puzzles. If that wasn't enough there's even a dose of co-ed puzzle solving. The game especially shines during the tense, atmospheric real-time platforming sequences. With its forgiving checkpoint auto-saves even a tired, old gamer can succeed through the platforming sequences.

Walk right DEAD something fell on you that you couldn’t see because it’s off camera, so you take two steps to the left, oh now you’re being chased DEAD stuck on some invisible obstacle. Right now pick up the top of the chess piece BUG no you can’t, go and reboot your console. What a ridiculous game.

From the stunning visuals, to the fully immersive atmosphere, the detail put into every area, and the SOUNDTRACK the game delivers in all categories. Constantly on the edge of your seat wondering if you’re safe or not and gives you a sense of unsettlement as you go through each section. The villains are amazing and really make your scared the more you go through and the lore is one of the best parts. Gets you sucked in and makes you watch all this videos wanting to know more. Easily the best horror game of 2021 and in a while. Would be surprised if this game wins no rewards. GO PLAY IT NOW!! Also don’t rely on IGNs rating because they gave it low because the person who reviewed it lowered the score because they were bad at it. Lmao. Loser

It still runs in the shorter side at around 5 or 6 hours, but the quality is very high throughout and justifies the 30 dollar price tag in my opinion. The game is VERY intense, especially over the last hour as it is almost constant action. The only thing I can really complain about is that the final story revelation kind of **** me up in a way. It feels like it was done more as a "gotcha" than it actually making sense and the timeline is making my brain hurt now. Other than that it's a fantastic game that I highly recommend.
Despite its non-verbal nature (brilliant environmental details, sound design and music tell the story in place of words), Little Nightmares 2 is thought-provoking, tackling the potentially corrupting nature of what is beamed into our homes. If you were to nitpick, you could say that there’s little motivation to revisit the game once it’s run its course – but this gothic nightmare is a delight to inhabit.

The world around you seeming so big and you so tiny, everything is a threat. Having to clamber around over furniture and through buildings. Finding paths and solving physics puzzles to navigate through each new horrifying location. This time, having an AI companion to guide you and team up together in order to make it through this living hell. Battling it out against massive monstrosities, one single misstep and you are their lunch. A Tim Burton-esque mix of cultural styles and architecture that gives the game this unique, creepy, dark mysterious vibe and a story that is confusing but oh so tantalizing to decipher. Just amazing work from this indie team, absolutely polished and built upon from the first game. A frightening and adrenaline fueled trip through 2.5 D platforming, chases and puzzle solving, short but still such good value. Check out my full review here: https://youtu.be/54jBuRTatPQ

Little Nightmares II is a haunting adventure platformer set in a dark and twisted world. Guide Six and Mono through an apocalyptic ruin filledLittle Nightmares II is a haunting adventure platformer set in a dark and twisted world. Guide Six and Mono through an apocalyptic ruin filled with cannibalistic entities and engaging puzzles. Little Nightmares II is a must-play for horror fans everywhere.
Little Nightmares II is an important step up for Tarsier Studios. They maintain the nightmarish horror and the whole aesthetic of the first game, but with a much welcomed extended length, improved visuals and in general even more emphasis on the creepiness of the environments and excellently horrid enemies.
Managing to go beyond the first game, Little Nightmares 2 successfully makes you feel like you are a weak character in a twisted world.
Little Nightmares II is an excellent follow-up to an already terrific game. While the changes it makes to the series’ established formula, such as the dual protagonist story and the addition of combat, are a bit hit or miss, I still found it nearly impossible to put the game down during my six-hour playthrough thanks to its satisfying puzzles and unrivaled atmosphere. If you’re a fan of the original game, then this is a game you won’t want to miss. However, if the performance problems I mentioned have you on the fence (though honestly, they’re not that bad), perhaps consider picking up the game on a more capable platform than the Switch.
Little Nightmares II is worth experiencing for its art direction alone, although its hand-cramping controls can be an obstacle at times. The title relies far too heavily on trial and error, which frustrates, but many of its encounters will live with you long after the credits roll, and so it’s successful at creating a lasting impression. It’s a stiff and rigid release at times, but its puzzles are constantly reinventing themselves, and each frame draws you in with its surreal and unsettling imagery.
Little Nightmares II builds on its predecessor as a sequel should, expanding the scope of the universe both in terms of lore and mechanics. Little Nightmares II is one of 2021's first must-play titles.
Little Nightmares 2 is a superb sequel that carries on the impressive tone of the original, but improves in all key areas. This isn’t explosive horror, there’s no gore or torture, and for the most part you’re jumping onto levers, solving puzzles, and climbing up furniture, but that doesn’t mean Tarsier hasn’t created a standout horror experience.
With Little Nightmares 2 Tarsier Studios has once again dreamt up a wonderfully unnerving world filled with grotesque and fantastical creatures that is a horrifying pleasure to explore. Gameplay is mostly the same as in the original, with the only significant exceptions being the addition of Six as an AI companion and some clumsy combat that actually feels more like a puzzle than anything else. If you enjoyed the first game, and you’re looking for more of the same creepy goodness, you can’t go wrong with Little Nightmares 2. Just maybe sleep with the lights on after you’re done playing.
Despite contriving its fair share of unsettling moments, Little Nightmares II is a disappointing follow-up to one of 2017's most pleasant surprises. It might be a bigger game than its forebear, but it certainly isn't better.
A perfect sequel. Expanding on what worked last time, improving what did not work, adding ideas that were missing, and taking the story to places we have never seen before. As a fan of Little Nightmares, you could not ask for more.
A refined study in creepiness, Little Nightmares II is the first game of 2021 that I have recommended to all with any interest in video games. It is a gripping adventure that soars beyond its predecessor and raises the dark fairy tale to new heights.
Little Nightmares II is wonderful, captivating, creepy, and unsettling in equal measure - tapping into childhood fear and horror in a way that feels both deeply personal and like a distant, unknown memory.
One of the most notable effects of Little Nightmares II is its sticking power after the credits roll. It never gave me little nightmares of my own, but the game’s focus on a minimal roster of horrors has an effective way of drilling images of those enemies into your mind. The Teacher and all the other denizens of Little Nightmares II’sworld always have one defining feature about them that lingers after each encounter, and even when you’re rid of them and have moved onto the next segment, there’s always a sneaking suspicion they’ll show up again.
Despite a couple of hurdles, Little Nightmares II remains true to the eerie, terrifying foundation built by its predecessor. It can't completely avoid comparison, but its expanded world and NPC co-op features are well implemented and make the journey worth taking.
It's rather obvious, but if enjoyed the first Little Nightmares then you will enjoy the Little Nightmares II. While some new elements have been added it is more of a next chapter to the story than a full blown sequel. The attention detail is incredible, bringing the story to life without a single spoken word. It's unsettling, creepy, darkly amusing, and at times a little frustrating, but immensely enjoyable. Another little, slime covered gem from Tarsier Studios.
Little Nightmares II does everything you'd expect of a sequel. It sticks closely to the grimy winning formulae of Little Nightmares, while improving on it in key areas. It's clear that Tarsier Studios know what makes their players tick and delivers it to them in festering bucketloads. Everything from the game's story, to the claustrophobic atmosphere it creates combine into an incredibly compelling package that is a must play for horror lovers everywhere.
Little Nightmares II tells a beautiful yet fragile story of friendship, sadness, and searching for the light among the darkness. The puzzles are well-designed, the music is stunning, and the visuals are on another level.
Little Nightmares II builds greatly upon what the first title achieved, and pushes with great effort to accomplish even more in its setting, design, and gameplay - and it absolutely succeeds in every area of the game. From start to finish of this 4-5 hour experience, you’ll be sat on the edge of your seat, wanting nothing more than to go back in the opposite direction, but the world design and your curiosity will compel you to delve ever deeper into the horrors that await. I am confident that fans of the first game will absolutely love this installment, and any newcomers should go back and play both of these games without a doubt. The settings are both creepy and beautiful, and I really hope to see more from Tarsier Studios in the future.
Following closely in the footsteps of its predecessor, Little Nightmares II is an indie darling hiding a triple-A development team under the floorboards. It takes the cream of cinematic interpretations of The Ring, Poltergeist, IT and even Jim Henson’s Labyrinth and whisks them further into a butter of pitch-black imagination. It may not steer too far from the apple tree when it comes to evolving its gameplay, but what it does do is dim the lights even lower to carry on the momentum for another satisfying and nerve-wracking experience.
