If you've ever played Shadow of Mordor or Batman: Arkham Knight, then you'll be familiar with the gameplay. In Mad Max"], the titular hero teams up with a hunchback after losing his beloved vehicle, the Interceptor. The two attempt to rebuild the Magnum Opus car while battling Scabrous Scrotus, the son of Fury Road's Immortan Joe."Max" isn't as good as any of the other games I've mentioned, but it's well-made and packed with plenty of activities to do. So if you love the movies and survival action games like The Last of Us, then you should be pleased with this adaption. I would rate it with a 7.7 out of 10.

The best and most likeable character in the entire game is constantly bullied by Max and dies in a pointless and contrived way due to yet another stup*d action by Max that you as a player can't do anything to stop. And to crown this whole imbec*lity, the entire story depends on the fact that the antagonist was able to survive his brain being literally sawed in half with a chainsaw. I could eat a dictionary and still sh*t out a better script than what the id*ots who wrote this cr*p came up with.The gameplay is tolerable at best, but extremely repetitive and padded out. This entire game felt like a massive waste of my time.

A game that breaks the way this game breaks, the way Just Cause games break, in becoming unplayable and broken in ways that never get fixed and for a very significant amount of players - deserves a 0 score, and 0 of your dollars.

This game is an actual tragedy. Is it a bad game? Absolutely not. On the contrary, Ubisoft's open-world template is perfect for churning out market-friendly games that tick all the boxes of "What People Want." Mad Max successfully blends well-known and popular elements from other games. Post-apocalyptic world is very well presented and driving behind the Magnus Opus' wheel is so engrossing that the latest work from Avalanche is definitely worth your time, even if one needs to turn a blind eye to few shortcomings.

It is extremely relaxing, like I loved to ride the horse on Red Dead Redemption simply doing nothing. Amazing feeling.

It performs well on Xbox One with limited frame rate stutters.I put 18.5 hours into the game on the first day. I find the mechanic of the game being about the car to be -perfect- for Mad Max. The need to fuel the car, drink (a nifty way around a timed hydration mechanic) & eat to heal, and limited ammunition are all in keeping the with Mad Max Universe.The roads are and areas are sprawling and there is genuine incentive to clear areas. The tasks can be repetitious but show me a game that doesn't have repetition. I just make sure I don't do the same things back to back and when one specific type of task becomes tiresome -cough- minefields- cough I do something else. Getting Jeet's stronghold upgraded along with upgrading my ammo capacity and melee abilities made the game less threatening. The Havok engine is on display here with fighting I would argue is better than Arkaham.Is it game of the year? No. Its not as good as Witcher 3 but IS better than Arkham Knight. Mad max is the most fun I've had in years on a single player game, there's a ton of things to do in each zone the game world is pretty big, the graphics are good and the game runs smooth and not had a single crash or glitch in over 50 hours play. Brutal sandstorms can hit shredding enemies and throwing max around, optional side quests to complete, story missions, death races, brutal fights this game has it all. Do yourself a favour pick it up you will enjoy it if you actually like playing games.
