The AI for the defenders that are not selected is terrible, they literally stay still doing nothing, and even the switching the players using "L1" is terrible.No one said this here, and that is probably my fault then, but i don't know how to receive a pass in this game, i tried everything and every single time the receiver just advances the ball to much i don't know how is that possible.Lastly, and one of the most annoying things is the fact that an action stays for ever in memory. I never reviewed a game before but i felt an urgent necessity to review this game. Don't know how people can rate this game higher than 5.

This years PES reminded us of the great PS2 era titles. Gameplay absolutely shins this time around. Football fans should not miss PES 2016.

Quick and dynamic football game with incomplete licenses and (for PC version) ugly visuals with a few technical problems. Even a couple of regrettable changes in gameplay can’t cover that PES 16 offers a unique football experience.

So it’s official, last year’s game wasn’t a fluke. PES really is back to where it belongs: at the top of the league.

It might not be the most fully featured game or the most polished. And the list of things to fix for 2017 is pretty obvious. But, PES 2016 feels right. And for me, fun beats features every single time.

The football here is unpredictable and undefinable. Matches take on their own personality, depending on who is playing, both on the pitch and behind the controller. You are given enough control and room for expression that you don’t need to conform to best practice. Instead you need to play to your and your team’s strengths, negating the opponent’s and managing the tempo of a game.

With individualized players, explosive tactical potential and unparalleled realism, PES 2016 redefines what a soccer game can be.

It felt as thoug they were not making enough progress and I wasn't having fun playing it anymore. I decided to give Pro Evo 2016 a chance after reading all the positive reviews and I was really excited to play it when I received it last week. Since then I've found that the game, while almost brilliant, is massively flawed by one or two very important failures by Konami.I've now played around 15-20 matches across offline and online modes so I feel as though my initial impressions are based on enough time in the game.Shooting is ridiculous. Every game is a 7+ goal thriller and this is by far the worst aspect of the game. There is no realism to it, it's out of hand and this is the number one reason why I'm not inclined to continue playing the game. Shots fly in from all angles, rarely missing the target even with low-rated players.Tackling, in particular slide tackles, are almost always perfectly executed, even by players who have low rated tackling. I don't find this to be a gamebreaker but it isn't particularly realistic and it's not much fun either.I could go on about the positive things because there are a number of them, as seen by the generally high scoring reviews, but I can't give this game a higher score until the shooting is fixed. It's a real shame because the game is almost there, so I hope Konami listen to feedback and address this as necessary.

And although it’s toughest competition is yet to take to the pitch it’s very much Pro Evo which is now the team to beat.

I only with FIFA 16 will "feel" like this and have at least same player and ball physics as this game have.

Although technically once again inferior compared to the next-gen-console-versions, PES 2016 is one of, if not THE best football game we’ve played in the last six or seven years, mainly due to its completely overhauled tackling system and smoother animations.

With PES 2016, Konami makes a statement: they are back in the game. And at the heart of this final mutation is finely carved gameplay, based on the traditionally precise construction phases of the series and enhanced by new animations and collisions. The result is a game which is, at last, very nice to play.
