The humor is excellent and the feeling of being inside a South Park movie is incredible.It isn't a particularly long game but is fun and funny enough to replay periodically.

That's not to say the gameplay is bad though as someone who finds turn base RPGs to be hit or miss this was fun enough but most of my enjoyment came from the humor and interacting with characters from the show as well as exploring the area of South Park. My only complaints on this game is that I thought the level cap was a little to low and much of the game felt kind of easy from my experience. I think this game is another testament to Obsidian entertainment and there ability to make good faithful RPGs on pre existing source material. It defiantly takes talent to make an RPG out of a show like South Park and to make it good so my full respect goes to the developers on this one.

As a South Park fun i really didnt enjoy the game. First of all - the humor was off for me, a lot of fart jokes, not to much of good ones (i really enjoyed Canada). Battles are very easy and repetitive. But the worst thing of all were the mini games. I could not finish the game becouse of them. They were poorly explained and frustrating. At the abortion minigame i got blew up several times on stage two, and when i figured out what to do i got stuck on phase 3 and uninstalled being tired gping throgh all rhe previous stages over and over. .

It does have classes Fighter, Mage, Thief, and Jew.Story, you're the new kid, characters generic term for you is Douchebag or New Kid. You join Cartman's kingdom and fight against the elven kingdom which is ruled by Kyle. Its a simple story really. Both kingdoms fight each other until they find a bigger problem and agree to join forces to take down the new enemy. That's pretty much it story wise. Small side quests here and there to fill in the void but what makes it good it the talking, since its just as south park would be.Overall, If you like the south park show you'll like this game. If you're not a fan of the show then you can skip since you'll most likely be bored out of your mind with this game.

Quickly you become to befriend many of the kids of South Park and play in their game which is a war between humans and elves...Pros:• The story in Stick of Truth is just like an episode of South Park where it starts off simple enough, but things get out of hand very quickly and it's glorious.• The game is like an interactive season of the show.Gameplay: Stick of Truth plays like an RPG game with a turn-based combat system, a class system of four classes, a semi-open world of South Park and a bunch of side quests, collectables and abilities to discover.Pros:• I love how you can make a character like you within South Park, with many customization options available.• Combats plays a lot like an JRPG and surprisingly has a fair bit of depth to bit to make it engaging.• Plenty of references to all the 17 seasons that were out during the time this game was made, so fan service from Obsidian is top notch.• The four classes that you can choose from are all really fun to play as with their own unique abilities that are honestly fun to watch be activated, especially the "Jew" classes skills. They also add replay value to the game.• Obsidian has done a tremendous job recreating the small town of South Park rather faithfully as well, some slight changes made in some locations, but it's really done to a high standard.• The game took me around 13 hours to beat, and that was by doing everything the game offered. Yes it is quite short for an RPG, but for the story it tells and the quests the game offers, I think it's just the right length to satisfy.Cons:• Obviously you will need to at least like the show to really appreciate the game as a whole, not a problem for me, but some non-fans it might not be fully worthwhile to them.• Biggest complaint about this game is it has many missable collectables that you can easily miss if your not careful and if your trying to 100% the game, this is a huge flaw that shouldn't be a thing in todays video games, or games made in 2014. Look it's not an issue for people who don't care about the collectables, but they do offer you bonuses so it's all the more annoying to me.• (Console Versions) The EU did censor a few mini-games in the European version of this game, but not on the PC version for some reason. Not Obsidians fault, but the EU's for censorship on the console versions. F**k you EU. It makes the inferior version because of this. The replacement flashcards are funny though.Sound/Music:Pros:• All the shows voice actors and characters are present in this game which is always great to see in a South Park game. Even Trey Parker and Matt Stone did the writer in this game, which makes it all the more worthwhile.• Surprisingly, this game has some really good music to go with the game. Not so much to listen to outside of playing the game, but works well while playing it.Performance and graphics:Pros:• Stick of Truth looks exactly like South Park, from character movements, scenery, the whole game captures the feel of the show to perfection.• The game ran solid the whole time and no crashes. This straight up port allows new players to enjoy the first South Park adventure on the most recent systems: while A fractured but-whole delivered in spades gameplay wise, The Stick of Truth has a somewhat better - and funnier - story.

As a fan of the show, my expectations of this being a entertaining game was unquestionable. Not only does it deliver on both aspects, the experience is just like being thrown right into a South Park movie. Almost every item is an easter egg, show reference or fan service. Side quests are potatoes to this steak dinner and compliment the game perfectly. Combat is turn based, but refreshing, with the inclusion of button prompts to add effects to abilities, summons and attacks.South Park: TSoT has tons of hilarious material and the story fits perfectly to the game. For fans like me, it's an easy 10 for simply because I enjoyed myself from start to finish.

The combat was much better than expected though it did get a little stale but was still entertaining enough. The character creation was also pretty impressive. I cant believe I am saying this, but this game is one of the better RPGs out there. I felt like I was watching a very long and funny episode of South Park with my character in it!

We've never had so much fun with a video game before. If you like RPGs and/or the TV show –especially the latter– this is a game you cannot miss. This is just the best adaptation from a TV series to a video game ever made.

The length is less to blame than the overall design as an RPG, where players will notice things such as a striking contrast between pacing when considering how strong the story is. Stick of Truth’s main concern ultimately lies in its ability to match a good game to a really entertaining premise, which is a far more alienating factor than whether people like your show.

Obsidian Entertainment managed to create a South Park game that is completely indistinguishable from the TV series. The witty and vulgar humor, the cutout aesthetic, and the hilarious voice talents of Matt Stone and Troy Parker are all present. Fans of the series shouldn’t miss it.

It's in bad taste, disgusting, difficult to digest - so it's a true and worthy South Park game. It's captures the humour and has lots of great ideas. Still, it's no RPG, it's all about the fun we all know from the TV series.

More than just a faithful adaptation of a cult TV series. It's a benchmark for translating a favourite property into a video game format, something that other licensed properties could learn from. And it's also the funniest game on the market.
