概要
Squad Killerは、8ビット・クラシックのストレートで中毒性の高いチャレンジが思い出され、レトロなアーケード体験に現代的なセンスを加えています。グラフィックはピクセル化されたツートンカラーで表現されていますが、ディテール、カスタマイズ、精度の高さは、そのインスピレーションの限界を超えるものです。カラーパレットの調整、複数のプレイモードの選択、アップグレードの購入、そして走るたびにシャッフルされる予測不可能なステージの順番を乗り越えろ!
目的は単純で、入った部屋から敵を一掃して鍵を手に入れ、次のレベルに進むことです。しかし、新たな敵の出現や、5ステージごとに待ち受けるボスとの対決など、勝利への道のりは遠い。殺すか殺されるか!コインを集めてパワーアップアイテムを購入し、有利になるように戦略的に素早く敵を倒しましょう。

Make no mistake, this is a hard game - overwhelmingly so at times. It’s fair to say that Squad Killer on Xbox isn’t a game for everyone and a lot of people will be discouraged by its difficulty. But for those who decide to stick with it, they’ll find a game that is both dangerously addictive and intensely rewarding.
Squad Killer is a fun, if simple, retro platformer/shooter. The action is easy to pick up and play – and the achievements drop easily – but there are a few niggles that can frustrate a little too much. For the low price it might be worth a shot for some, but others will be best off looking elsewhere.
