The Sims 3 walks quite surprising me, is legal but missed some things.

I think this has to be my favourite expansion, which surprised me, because I was sure the Late Night expansion or World Adventures, but I haveI think this has to be my favourite expansion, which surprised me, because I was sure the Late Night expansion or World Adventures, but I have to say the new professions - especially the Ghost Hunter - is, by far, my favourite aspect of this expansion. I love the Ghost Hunter, it's a hilarious job and it's a nice diversion from the normal "real life" roleplaying that I usually do in this game. The addition of getting hit by a meteor is a fantastic addition to this game as well that I didn't expect. LOL! World Adventures and Late Night are tied for second as my favourite expansions.

Showing Sims at work gives us more simple but enjoyable ways to play, though it still needs help from our imaginations. You can now also register as self employed which is an encouraging step forward towards an open for business style expansion pack with any look. Before that we have Late Night and Generations :)

In comparison with other add-ons, Ambitions is really well made and integrates real gameplay treats for you. The only missing thing about The Sims is the multiplayer, so please, EA, think about it.

The second addon for famous The Sims 3 brings you new career choices for your virtual family - among them jobs as firefighter, ghosthunter or stylist. Sounds cool but the fun of playing the job routines day by day vanishes too quickly. The Sims 3 Ambitions is solid but nothing more.

This professional ambitions are delicious and far above what we expect from an expansion. With this simple addition, we are left with a revitalized game, where many hours of fun are expected.

The Sims 3 : Ambitions clearly peers at the Adventure genre, in an apparent attempt at pepping up its gameplay. A new direction that we already felt with World Adventures, the first expansion pack. As it was the case with this previous one, it's the opening of a new side of the title that makes this expansion interesting. The impact those new experiences have in the long run on the personal stories of the avatars help forgetting the immediacy they may seem to have at first glance. For the first time, our Sims live real and distinctive lives and their interactions have influence over their neighbors' lives.

Players who prefer to control a single character will happily dive deep into the whirlpool of daily grind. The rest will face a classic dilemma: stellar career or domestic bliss.

New add-on comes with less adventure or interesting ideas then the previous expansion of World Adventures, but it is a nice and pleasant game experience anyhow.

Boring and uninteresting job mechanics make this Sims-expansion a disappointment. Anyone but the most die-hard Sims-fans should get their fix elsewhere.
