The Switch edition was the first platform I played it on. On a big screen, runs really well and I found the controls intuitive. The only downside I have is playing it on the small screen (even the OLED) I find painstaking as everything is so tiny (text etc, and I am only mid 30s).It can run a little slow at times, but, for a console port on the Switch hardware, I find it runs well enough.I tend to pick this up when I need a bit of an escape, play a level or two, then put it away for some time. However, for me as a casual gamer that works really well. The humour in the game particularly appealed to the dad-joke lover in me, I found it delightfully cheesy and it had me giggling with the sillyness of it at times. All in all, well worth the investment and lots of content to keep you going!

On xbox one I can't even get into a game it just freezes as soon as you enter the main menu. You can get in a game but it still freezes as the dude talks. I hate to give the review that this is because I bet this is a wonderful game but they need to fix this. I would really like to give this game the review that it deserves but they need to fix this freezing bug.

I can hear music and hire staff etc but nobody moves and time stands still. Had to go back to previous save from ages ago. Not happy.

I spend almost as much time cursing the glitches and reloading as I do "enjoying" the game. Save yourself the stress and money, find an old copy of Theme Hospital and play that. It's the same game, but actually finished and tested.

You can run the best most efficient hospital and when that gets boring run a crazy hospital on the verge of getting shut down just to see how much you can get away with. Hours of fun.

It's what you would expect from the type of game. Build your hospital, cure diseases, manage your staff and unlock an array of hospitals throughout multiple years as you work your way up to be a brilliant organization. The game is nothing unique or impactful, but loads of fun that will give you value, although might become a bit repetitive after a while. Its presentation is cute, the music surprisingly catchy. However, the game focuses a lot on over-the-top and, "funny" diseases like mad clown disease. It goes a bit overboard with its concept, and loses a lot of realism which is a bit off-putting. Either way, it's a well crafted, fun and cool game to pass some time.Overall: It's nothing unique or mind-blowing, but it's fun. You'll enjoy the experience and will be delighted to run your hospital organization. Just keep in mind that's more quirky than realistic.
A true spiritual successor and sequel in one. Every little element is instilled with the same wit and comedy as the original, and the mechanics are polished to perfection. The constantly evolving needs of each stage, and the regular requests that pop up as little memos mean this never gets dull, and continually keeps players on their toes. There's easily 20 hours here, and plenty more on replays Anyone who loved Theme Hospital will find their new obsession here.
Two Point Hospital is a fun, business-management strategy game wrapped up in a charmingly silly Theme Hospital-shaped packaged. Those looking for a business-sim challenge will find plenty of enjoyment in scrutinising payrolls, training staff and designing building layouts for maximum efficiency. Yet those looking for a more relaxed experience won’t have much trouble completing the various challenges presented throughout the campaign. The creative tools on offer aren’t as robust as other recent management games, but there’s still plenty of opportunity to make your designs stand out. Check this one out if you’ve enjoyed other business-management games in the past or if you’re looking for a goofy strategy game with plenty of charm.

Overall, Two Point Hospital is a treat on consoles and is not to be missed, especially given the inclusion of the DLC and almost all of the features from the PC. It's a funny, addictive and engaging experience that is great if you have fond memories of Theme Hospital or Theme Park.

My wife and me already played over 40 hours, everybody doing an own career. And we love it. We love the details, we love the gameplay, we love the motivation you get from building and improving hospitals and we absolutely love the humor. It´s so much Theme Hospital you won´t get from another game. ´Also, technically, it´s a good port. You won´t get super high frame rates and the frame rate decreases the bigger the hospital gets. Also you have to take some graphical downgrades like nearly missing shadows and all objects. But still, it runs and looks pretty well for such a simulation.Only thing we don´t like is that there are times when control and menu deisgn can be a bit overwhelming and not intuitive enough. Selecting objects and characters could be hard sometimes. And from what I´ve noticed, there´s no endless game mode, yet.But overall, if you like these kind of games, then just buy it.
Very well made with a good amount of polish, developers didn’t rush this (I think). After being released for the PC in late August last year, it is now the turn of PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch players to try out this good and fun title by Two Point Studios.Hmm… how can this game be described? I know. Hospital Manager 2020! Replace soccer balls, coaches and other things that only concern Football Manager, with doctors, nurses, assistants and caretakers. Unsurprisingly, the overall objective is to heal the sick and wounded and to make our hospitals successful and have good financial health.Initially, we always started with a modest £ 200,000, and the first step is to build a reception and hire an assistant to fill that position. After that, it is to build an office and hire a doctor for it. Subsequently, it is necessary to expand the hospital and build more things, such as rooms for cardiology, a rest room for staff, bathrooms, and even a clinic for clowns. But these places can be more harmonious with decorations, such as plants and posters, to make people happy. If we have a positive balance in the accounts, we can always build more hospitals. If the user has negative accounts or low funds, he can always get a loan from the bank. We can also see and change (increase or decrease) our prices in order to try to find a solution to our financial problem. But be aware that if we raise the price too much, our customers will refuse to pay the bill. Therefore, it will be necessary to find a balance.Items such as dustbins, banks, snack machines, drink machines, arcade machines are important things, because this will prevent patients and staff from being uncomfortable, thirsty, hungry and bored. In some places they are extremely sensitive to temperatures. If we are in a cold place, the ideal is to put heaters in all places and if we are in a hot place, the ideal is to use air conditioning. As I said at the beginning, we will have to hire doctors, nurses, assistants and caretakers. They all have different roles, salaries and skills from each other. There are some caretakers who can repair the machines, while there are other janitors who can improve the machines. And there are also janitors who can clean ... ghosts. Yes, it's funny, but it's true. When someone dies in our hospitals, sometimes a ghost appears to frighten our customers and then it is advisable to have a janitor with the Ghostbuster qualification.Assistants, well, in addition to working at receptions, are essential in Marketing. Doctors can work in offices, in Psychiatry, at X-Ray, at De-Lux Clinic, at Pans Lab, at Chromatherapy and at Research. In the latter, we can research projects to designate new types of equipment such as X-Ray and Chromatherapy. Nurses can be used in Pharmacy, General Diagnosis, Cardiology, Ward, Clown Clinic and Fracture Ward. In turn, the janitors, in addition to what I had previously said, also refill Snack Machines and Drink Machines, clean the bins and water the plants. After some time, we are invited to a ceremony in which we can receive 8 prizes (and money) if we are successful. Don't forget that we have major challenges to do. Once completed, we earn a star and can proceed to the next hospital on the map. I have to confess that I was surprised when I saw so many people get excited about Two Point Hospital. And no less. The more I played, the more addicted I became. Apart from the fact that the controls are a little difficult, especially when I've been decorating several walls with pictures and suddenly move to the other side of the wall. But it's still fun to control everything that Two Point Hospital offers. The cartoon graphics at Two Point Hospital are simple but good. In terms of songs, they are good but somewhat repetitive, but even that doesn't make me quit the game. Overall, this is a very good title that deserves everyone's attention. Two Point Hospital has just been discharged and is in good health.
Two Point Hospital is not only an exciting experience, but also is very unique in a market full of similar games, and the lengthy single player mode combined with multiplayer mode will keep entertaining you for a long time.
Even though the PC version remains the best place to experience Two Point Hospital, the transition to consoles was smooth, with great controls and with no compromises whatsoever to all the great gameplay and fun the game can offer.
Two Point Hospital is wildly entertaining, with a great sense of humour and production values that pop with light-hearted, satirical style. It's worth playing through if for no other reason than to see what zany diseases and treatments you'll need to deal with next. It's just odd that for a game with such strong nostalgia for Theme Hospital it would neglect to recreate the challenge that was such a feature of those early-era simulators. Still, that's me showing my age, I know, and I can't imagine anyone failing to come out of Two Point Hospital with a giant smile on their face. If nothing else... it's a great cure for boredom (okay, I'm sorry, really. In my defence, I did resist getting that stupid joke out until right at the end).
Whether you’re a fan of the old Theme Hospital or a complete newbie to business simulators, there’s an awful lot to love about Two Point Hospital with its fantastic sense of humor and incredibly addictive gameplay. It also performs really well on the PS4 and the developers have done a great job of adapting the controls to console.
Two Point Hospital lands on the Nintendo Switch after enjoying over a year and a half of a very good reputation and it fits the Switch so well it's easy to forget this game started elsewhere. Thanks to a combination of fun, fluid, balanced gameplay and a marvelous audiovisual environment, Two Point Hospital plays perfectly whether on a big screen or as a handheld experience and rises above its peers to be one of the top management games available on the Nintendo Switch.
Two Point Hospital lands on console with an almost perfect port. Playing with a gamepad feels like a good transfer of the game with keyboard and mouse, along with the addition of two of the three main expansions that has been launched on PC.
Two Point Hospital is perfect for anyone affected by nostalgia syndrome caused by old Bullfrog games, but it is also suitable for healthy bearers of irony and for all those who are not afraid of getting infected by its amusing frenzy. The port of the control system on Switch is very good, even if the loads are longer and framerate is sometimes unstable – a not so important flaw for the gameplay of Two Point Hospital.

You can pause the game anyway and do eveything you want in terms of building , editing your rooms etc , its a peice of cake , seriously.Great game , lots of fun , its quite addictive as well , there are a few bugs , which im sure will be ironed out , worst one i had was patients standing right next to a room they needed to use and the game telling me i had to build it all the time, was a bit annoying i just deleted the room and built it elswhere. Some nice challenges keep it fresh , buy it i say , i havent stopped playing it since Ive got it.
Two Point Hospital on the Switch is an absolute delight. The Humour is spot on and will keep you smiling, while the mounting challenge of each new hospital will keep you glued to this enjoyable simulator for hours on end.
Two Point Hospital is a worthy successor to Bullfrog's Theme Hospital, with great playability on console controllers, high variety and a nice touch of British humour. It offers a soft and linear learning curve to newcomers of the genre, managing to offer a good challenge to veterans too. We would have liked a deeper economic simulation and better online support, but it's definitely a pleasure to play.
Two Point Hospital - Finally! A valid and worthy successor to probably one of my favorite games of all time Theme Hospital, I sunk manyTwo Point Hospital - Finally! A valid and worthy successor to probably one of my favorite games of all time Theme Hospital, I sunk many hours into that and after sinking in a good few hours into this, I can tell this will be staying installed for quite some time. Two Point Hospital may get compared to Theme Hospital this game stands quite comfortably on it's own 2 feet. With a different feel and differing mechanics seperating the 2. Two Point comes with different hillarious illnesses to cure with just as crazy machines, you will find yourself wanting to see what each machine does everytime you gain access to them along with listening to the amusing cutscenes and funny descriptions for each oddball illness. This game has a well designed interface that makes navigating to each section (Build, Finances etc) very simple and natural. Visually the game delivers by the tonne, with nicely designed machines and characters and funny animations. Progression is manageable but not served on a plate, you need to be on your toes to keep everything running smoothly. In what could have been a perfectly sterile review this game for me, has some downsides that was just annoying enough to mention and take that mark down. Firstly, I found myself leaving my seat across to room to be able to read the text on screen, I personally found it small and hard to read, on PC this may have been fine, however on console when people can sit the other side of the room it's an issue. Secondly, you do end up getting fed up of rebuilding the same room, I've had 4 GP offices and still queues tend to be quite long, this can happen with rooms like Pharmacy as well causing a need for multiple pretty quickly before unlocked the next hospital section or finished building other treatment and facility rooms. That aside I believe this is an excellent game for both young and old, Casual / hardcore gamer and an absolute must have for any Theme Hospital fans or fans of Tycoon games, Building Sims.

It fulfils everything I need in a title such as this but your millage may vary depending on what you enjoy in your sims, the aesthetic and the hospital setting. Watch some Let's plays before you buy this, maybe a speed run or two and if you like what you see you will like the game, it's so solidly crafted.

I loved Theme Park, Theme Hospital and all the other Bullfrog masterpieces. And this is the closest I got near this Bullfrog-feelings after Bullfrog was closed down. Surely it's not perfect, but the port is fantastic and the game catches the spirit of the old games at its best with new features and a nice look. More games like this please Two Point!

I mostly play in handheld mode and thus far (I'm only a few maps in) the game generally runs smoothly and looks crisp on the Switch's screen. Yes, there is some slow down (below 30 fps) when you have a huge map zoomed out on high game speed. However, Two Point Hospital joins the likes of Civ 6, Pillars, Divinity 2, Darkest Dungeon as a must-have PC to Switch port
Two Point Hospital is a deep and challenging management sim coated in goofy and charming layers of humour. For some, this will be a warm and nostalgic experience sure to kick-start fond memories but to be honest regardless of your familiarity with the game’s past inspiration there’s plenty of fun (and stress) to be had here with Two Point Hospital.
Two Point Hospital on console is simply a delight. Anyone who has fond memories of playing Theme Hospital will find themselves right at home here. Packed with challenge, wonderful humour and a flawless control scheme, it’s very hard to find fault with anything Two Point Hospital has to offer. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have patients to tend to – and will you please stop dying in the corridors?

With an abundance of accessibility and irresistible charm, this version of Two Point Hospital is a shining example of a console port done right. The incredible control scheme will make you forget that the PC version even existed! With its clean bill of health, this is the best business sim game you will find on consoles.
Two Point Hospital is a huge amount of fun, and it's so easy to find yourself engulfed for hours at a time, perfecting every single aspect of your respectable institution and unlocking more and more 'kudosh', the game's essential currency for all of those requested upgrades.
The highest praise we can give Two Point Hospital is that it feels impossible not to have fun with it. It’s zanier than an episode of Scrubs and shot through with some of the most satisfying sim gameplay of any title this generation. It may be heavily inspired by games that came before, but in truth, it feels like a natural evolution of Bullfrog’s title, surpassing it in so many ways and is an endlessly enjoyable addition to the Switch’s third-party library. It's also arguably the best version of the game so far, given its visual similarity to other versions, and being able to carry the experience around with you makes it even more appealing and addictive.
I don’t often recommend frequent visits to a hospital, but Two Point Hospital on Xbox One is one which you must get admitted to at the soonest opportunity. It’ll be your new addiction.
The successor of Theme Hospital didn´t avoid flaws, but once you get immersed in the game, you will travel twenty years back in time with elegant style and modern graphics. Nothing more, but that's enough.

Two Point Hospital doesn’t want and doesn’t know how to punish players for their mistakes. It only creates a feeling of hectic atmosphere and imitates problems to keep us from falling asleep while moving medicine cabinets for the umpteenth time.
Two Point Hospital follows through on its lofty goals of bringing an old favorite into a new era, and in doing so, it has eclipsed many of its genre contemporaries and predecessors alike.
Two Point Hospital is probably the best strategy game this year, and an absolute must-have for fans of Theme Hospital. It has the same quirkiness, and is equally as hard to put away.

Two Point Hospital is a darkly humorous, fun and addictive game worthy to be called a true successor to Theme Hospital and the greatest of the classic tycoon titles of the past. Developers Two Point Studios know what they’re doing and it shows in the balance of near-perfect game design and biting satire. This game will suck many hours of your life from you before you know it, but along the way, it will also deliver a healthy dose of fun and laughter.
I have never played Theme Hospital before, so I missed out on the fun that most people say they had when they played the prequel to this game.I have never played Theme Hospital before, so I missed out on the fun that most people say they had when they played the prequel to this game. I've played all sorts of sim games, so naturally I was interested in Two Point Hospital as well. The game is pretty interesting and keeps you interested for quite some time, but it heavily lacks variety so you'll only be able to play it in bursts. It's more of a need fulfillment simulator than a tycoon sim. There isn't a lot of variation with what you do besides making sure that both your patients and your staff are happy and healthy. As you progress further into the game, more elements are introduced to make the game more varied, and the objectives get harder to fulfill in order to beat the map. There is a lot of micromanaging involved so that everyone is equally satisfied. The reason why I didn't give this game an 8 is because some features in the game are basically ignored like setting the prices to things and customizing rooms, and because some mechanics can be abused to fulfill certain objectives without any sense of aesthetic or logic (i.e. you can spam paintings to meet the attractiveness need). Also, there is a serious bug where you can't meet the needs of patients even when you've met them. For example, even when you have plenty of vending machines installed to fulfill a person's need for hunger, they might never use them and just starve themselves to dissatisfaction, causing you to lose that patient for no justifiable reason. This was hugely unfair and didn't follow common sense. In any case, I think a good amount of fun can be had with this game, but I don't think it deserves anything higher than an 8. It is a sim that's nowhere near as complex as a game like The Sims. I think anyone who gives it a 9 or 10 is probably just biased because they loved playing Theme Hospital in the past. Not that nostalgia isn't a good thing I suppose, but reviews should not be influenced by that as well as hype.
Two Point Hospital is so much more than just Theme Hospital 2. It may take Bullfrog’s classic as a base, but it expands on the concept to great a modern management-strategy classic in its own right. The game’s deeply strategic, with many decisions to make, and there’s always something to do - but the player never ends up feeling overwhelmed. Most importantly, Two Point Hospital is just tremendous amounts of fun. We may have some quibbles over the information it conveys, but all troubles fade away when you just start playing it. It could be the best strategy or management game out this year.
