I have played all of the WWE 2K games and compared to the others, this one is a bit underwhelming. I really enjoy the controls in this game as it always feels fast paced. I play on legendary difficulty, but i win most of the time so it can be a bit too easy. Sometimes the game does run really slow and then gets back to a normal pace. My final complaint is that some of the character models are not great, for some reason The Rock looks like Vin Diesel.Overall i am going to give this game a 6. It is fun but a couple of issues are annoying to deal with.

On January 1st, at midnight (probably EST because I attempted to play it on 8:11pm PST) the game ceased to work. This may have been for everyone, but at least enough people had this issue happen, I was one of them. The "fix" that came out early in the morning was to "roll your system clock back to 2019." Are you kidding me? You literally had a Y2K glitch happen with your game, where when the clock ticks over to a new year, the game becomes unplayable.Never mind the glitches that are still happening. Never mind the graphics issues that are still happening, your coding literally stopped working at midnight on 2020. I can certainly assume that there won't be a WWE 2K21, and even if there was, unless they gave it to us for free, there would be no reason I will purchase it.They continually ignore the fans who want some things that were in the previous games. However, they never supply it to us. The brand itself, both WWE and 2K, are becoming weak and producing media that no one wants.I want to say I hope something changes, but I know it won't.

This year's chapter has failed to be placed as the best installment of the saga. It meets what we can expect from wrestling matches, but simply said, it complies. Too much emphasis on the show and little emphasis on gameplay and bug fixes.

WWE 2K20 is flat out worst entry in the series, period. The game is obviously unfinished and is full of bugs and glitches, and there is almost no way that even the die hard fans of WWE can enjoy it. WWE 2K series seems to be done for this generation, and we can only hope that the new developers will have something to offer on next generation of consoles.

WWE 2K20 has its issues, and maybe they could have been overlooked if all the game modes worked. Sadly, that is not the case, and it feels like a broken game from the get-go.

The disastrous technical condition, poor graphics, butchered animations and bad camera are just a number of reasons why this game should not have been published that unfinished. Bugs and glitches destroy every second match and extreme loading times make waiting between matches a chore.

WWE 2K20 closely aligns with much of the current WWE onscreen product. It features the most promising roster in history, yet manages to squander it with incompetence, all while expecting fans to lap it up like they always do.

The game is flat-out broken right now and unlike Matt Hardy, I don’t think the lake of reincarnation can help it. It needs some time to be fixed up and lots of it. Fortunately, 2K through their WWEGames Twitter account maintains that patches are coming in the next few weeks – so if those come out and fix things up, grab the game then. Until then, you can safely skip 2K20 and it’s a shame because conceptually, it’s got a lot of improvements – but the final product just doesn’t live up to its potential.

WWE 2K's annual release schedule has felt superfluous for a number of years now. This has never been more apparent than with WWE 2K20, a game that's not only riddled with frequent technical issues, but one that's notably worse than its predecessor in almost every area--whether it's the dull and unenjoyable combat, the fact half the roster look like terrifying goblin facsimiles of themselves, or MyCareer's obnoxious and tedious story. This is the moment the WWE 2K series hit Rock Bottom.

There is no reason to pick this game up when far better WWE 2K games are out there, and we don't recommend it to anyone, even someone that lives and breathes WWE.

The core product still has a good deal to offer. Unfortunately a bevy of technical and gameplay issues give the impression that Visual Concepts needed more time with this title. I imagine that 2K20 will continue to receive patches and support that make it better, but in its current state it is impossible to recommend this over last year's version of the game.

If you want to create a custom Superstar you will find the attire creation is buggy from Item colours being reset once you save them to. Might say oh that's it I wouldn't mind that being a problem well let's just say anything you create won't load in game. Whether it's in the online modes or Exhibition.Now onto Gameplay from the ring physics breaking sometimes when the steps are in the ring to players just teleporting it's just a huge mess. Some moves look good but this game is only playable in the offline modes with no created content included which makes.me think this game was never ever tested at any point in time. So now we move onto online, there was a problem that Yikes took 2 Years to fix which was split matches which occured when you and your opponent or tag partner both went into different matches resulting in the split Match. With this game that is not back and as bad as ever. Usually spam moves are a thing where the moves are either impossible to counter or they give the person doing the move an advantage meaning you have wasted a counter. This is still a massive problem in this game.as for some reason moves in last year's game are now becoming spam moves, certain kicks give the person countering it a disadvantage when really you should have the advantage if you counter someone's move.This is one instance I have found with spam moves but looking at the state of the game I can honestly imagine there are a lot more. (PS most 2k19 spam moves are still spam moves in this year's game, the only differences are some are named differently) Soundtracks are named wrong, Jeff Hardy's song is called Evolution.Gameplay in terms of getting players up from the ground is super slow which shouldn't be the case for this style of game. They removed all custom Arenas, Matches and entrances for the online game mode. You might be the type of person who gives John Cena a female entrance and get a bit of a laugh out of it with your mates, they removed this and the match loads straight Away when your playing online with a friend. Extreme Rule matches don't have Tables or Ladders No 24/7 Championship and also the Create a title feature isn't there on release.In myplayer the graphics look awful and they flicker and it looks like PS3 graphics quite literally. Randy Savage just looks like a Homeless person I've heard the same is the case with John Cena but I haven't even dared to look yet.The Controls did change this year and it's super easier to counter with Triangle and your player no longer flinches when you spam the Counter button.New finisher button is Square and X, it's preference but I'd prefer it if there was atleast an option to go back to older controls since they pushed a lot of new controls on us this year. In modern times, WWE 2K20 is the jabroni of pro-wrestling games. It didn't just set the bar, it lowered the bar.

This game feels unfinished and with 2k's track record of patching and updating the WWE games, it seems unlikely this game will improve all that much.
