Xeodrifterは、レトロなグラフィックスタイルのアクション満載の探検ゲームです。この謎と冒険のエキサイティングな旅で、エイリアンの風景を吹き飛ばし、貴重な秘密を探し、古代の守護者を倒して伝説の最高文化の力を解き放ちましょう。
ストーリー
Xeodrifter™ は、シンプルな探検の使命で星々を旅する、星間漂流者の物語である。小惑星との衝突でワープコアが破損し、オメガ・セクターにある4つの惑星からなる小さなクラスターの調査に乗り出す遊牧民の物語です。
近隣の惑星をスキャンしたところ、エネルギー信号が多数見つかり、損傷したワープコアを交換して宇宙を旅するのに必要な特殊材料が得られるかもしれない。しかし、エンジンを修理するために始めたアウェイミッションは、捜索、射撃、生き残りをかけた危険なゲームへと急展開する。

I share all the points of the other negative review, eg.:- tiny area- trivial (or no) platforming experience- too minimal artwork (music, graphics) - retro-inspired is one thing, lazy and trivial is another.- useless enemies - you'll end up just going around them- poor controls: fixed jump? WTF? this subtracts a lot from gaming depth; flexible jump gives opportunities for skilled play- poor controls again: the game doesn't really accept a fast turn-fire-turnThe game is also quite poorly (or lazily) programmed. I can't remember seeing a game using Windows menus for the options, for example. Or one which expects you to throttle it if you have a fast screen.All in all, there are much better options:- for the retro-interested, Axiom Verge- for the retro-masochists, Caste in the darkness
