The new team up feature is magnificent but the game doesn’t use it a lot. The hub areas are impressive you can now explore more than just the city, however the places beside the city are forgettable at best. The roster is awesome but some characters feel the same. The quest and the missions are fun but get repetitive, however I wish there was more in depth development on the levels. Overall the game is fun to free roam in but the levels are a disastrous mess that it makes the game boring at times. (2/5 Play It If Your A Fan Of The Series)

Et la caméra qui reste désespérément fixe, c'est devenu insupportable ça aussi...Et le farmage des briques et des **** machins à ramasser est toujours aussi lancinant, de même que le bourrinage en règle lors des combats. C'est toujours lourdingue à jouer, vu qu'on est toujours mal guidé et qu'il faut deviner comment débloquer le script suivant dans cette progression erratique et merdique (changer de perso, viser tel bidule, activer le machin, détruire le truc, construire le bordel etc).Bon, c'est assez joli bien sûr mais les voix françaises sont un peu ratées, la musique est envahissante et l'humour gogol fait long feu : du coup je me suis vengé sur le disque et l'ai recontruit en confettis de plastique. Même si c'est pas recyclable.

Formula developed by Traveller’s Tales got old like 10 games ago and it’s hard not see Avengers as yet another sign of studio’s creative stagnation.

In Lego Marvel’s Avengers, the developers have placed the focus squarely on combat then discovering the hidden special items through smashing bricks and puzzle solving holding up the rear. And although I did enjoy my journey through the Lego-themed scenes from the Avengers movies, I can say I didn't quite enjoy myself as much as I have in the past.

Heck, there are two really obscure Guardians of the Galaxy in this game, but the original crew is nowhere to be found. Someone explain that.Unfortunately (or fortunately if you’ve got the dough), there’s a season pass for the title already available, with content packs based on Ant-Man and the upcoming Captain America: Civil War already in the works.In addition to the odd character implementation, the game itself reuses a lot of the same content from Lego Marvel Super Heroes. Sure, New York got a glossy facelift and all of the animations are a bit better, but we need more than that.The set pieces from the films are a step in the right direction — let’s just keep going down that road.In terms of difficulty, the game is simple enough to get the hang of and enough to keep players of all ages interested. The entertainment you'd get through a LEGO game is a given and it's a fact for Marvel's Avengers too, but the truth is that the concept is getting more tiresome with every new addition to Tt Games' franchise.

My experience with this game has been enjoyable but at times it does feel a little bit to much like marvel superheroes as the main open worldMy experience with this game has been enjoyable but at times it does feel a little bit to much like marvel superheroes as the main open world is exactly the same, as well as it using the typical lego formula for gameplay.The story in my opinion is weak and confusing especially if the player hasn't recently seen all of the newer marvel films. However the lack of crafted story doesn't hinder the overall enjoyment that this game has to offer. That being said if you don't enjoy other lego games you most likely won't enjoy this one.

Combat in this instalment is far more fluid and exciting, characters are unique in design and there are plenty of abilities spread throughout.

LEGO Marvel's Avengers is clearly the best MCU movie adaptation to date. That being said it unfortunately isn't the best LEGO title. The game is fun to play and respectful to the source material but sadly doesn't feel as epic as it could have been.

That said it, doesn't break from the established by TT formula and going forward they will have to shake it up at some point in the very near future.

Where last year's LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham proved that there's still life in the LEGO series, LEGO Marvel's Avengers is proof positive that cracks are beginning to show in TT Games' once bulletproof franchise. A severe lack of variety lets the side down, indicating that it's high time the LEGO series receive a much-needed shot in the arm.

Playing through LEGO Marvel's Avengers may trigger the sense of déjà vu if you've experienced any past games in the series. There isn't anything new to see here, and the franchise really needs a serious revamp if it's going to continue.

The story is straight from the movies, and is enjoyable for kids of any age – indeed, fans of the Marvel universe will likely have fun here too. Some technical hiccups and the occasional unclear objective can hamper your progress, but these can all be overcome in a game that exudes a fun-loving attitude throughout.

Its more direct focus does nothing to water down the grand, and often times hilarious, experiences one comes to expect from the franchise. It may not add much that is new, but it is a prime example of why you shouldn’t mess too much with a good thing.

There are still some small annoyances preventing Lego Marvel's Avengers from being an outstanding game, but TT Games has shown it still has some magic up its sleeve to keep improving upon its long-running franchise.
