So underrated, this One have really excellent story, good shooting mechanic and awesome looting system. Shame it didnt got better reviews, because I would love to see sequel one day. I will definitely play this game in comming years, already finished this on XSX from XGP, now I bought a copyright on PS5 to support devs and to play this again.
This game was just oke. Nothing special and not bad. There are alot of games which are very good so I would not recommend playing this.
Very nice gameplay and lootGood GraphicMedium AudioBad Story !But this game is USELESS !!! Because you cant connect to outriders servers !!
Outriders is worth the time investment so far, in spite of its clunkiness and server instability at launch. Although the game has areas it needs to improve, the core ideas and gameplay are incredibly strong, making it easy to overlook whatever flaws are present. It's also an easy game to recommend for both solo players and groups of friends looking for a shooter to dive into together, and because of the world tier mechanic, anyone with any level of skill can jump into Outriders and have a great time. With a handful of hours left to go in the main campaign, that doesn't appear likely to change - though this review will be updated and finalized once completed to reflect the whole of the experience either way.

Though it lacks invention, the solid narrativeapproach and satisfying endgame ensuresOutriders escapes the repetitive trappings ofthe loot shooter genre.
This could have been a decent game but it is lacking in content which sadly many looter shooters seemed to be really failing from DevelopersThis could have been a decent game but it is lacking in content which sadly many looter shooters seemed to be really failing from Developers as of late & it quickly becomes a very repetitive game! The game is buggy the Demo seemed to play better and the P2P servers they are using are terrible like they spent small cash on the setup. The company even nerfed the game even though there is zero PVP which makes no sense & the Pod game timing missions to get loot is a massive looser.I had high hopes, for Outriders but it has failed in so many ways. One day maybe a developer will get it right for a true decent looter shooter, sadly this one is a letdown yet again in the genre!
Outriders is a boring game to play solo, with a lack of any real end-game content and bugs that may wipe all of your progress it’s probably best to wait for a sale for this one.
All in all, Outriders falls short of Anthem in the launch-period stability stakes. Having to combat the game to be able to combat enemies and then combat the game to be able to combat enemies and then combat the… well, it’s just not worth it.
Still, despite its issues, I mostly enjoyed my time with Outriders, and with a few more updates and tweaks I think it’ll be at a point where I’d like to go back and play more of the end-game content or roll another character class. I’d say it’s a harder sell at full price for $60 right now, but it’s more of a no-brainer to try out if you have the option to do so on Xbox platforms via Gamepass.
A cooperative game with fast pace, and though it has some technical issues and a lot of loading screens, the game will still give you tens of hours of gameplay.

There are plenty of shortcomings in Outriders - from the gameplay standpoint and to the massive number of technical hiccups. But even so, the deep and rewarding role playing system can make up for some of it. If you love the looter-shooter genre, then wait for Outriders to get a price drop, or simply try the game with Game Pass.
Outriders blends frenetic combat and hard hitting class skills to make each encounter feel tense and rewarding. Chasing loot drops and collecting mods to bolster your collection is as addictive as using storm whip on vulnerable foes. The presentation makes it hard to connect with the characters, but players willing to read a lot may be surprised by how much thought has been put into things behind the scenes. With the current state of problems however, waiting a bit longer for things to get sorted out is recommended.
Outriders is a quite pleasant surprise when it comes to its combat mechanics, lore, structure and overall quality. It is a bright example that a looter-shooter can be fun, addictive and extremely enjoyable without the need to reside on a "Games as a Service" mentality.
Outriders offers an alternative in the looter shooter genre that is very enjoyable if played in company, but without offering anything groundbreaking compared to other alternatives. Its connectivity failures ruin the gaming experience.
Outriders is the type of game where players get what they put in. For those who want a pick-up and put-down RPG with an emphasis on story, Outriders has that covered. For those who want hundreds of hours of gameplay in tense and adrenaline-pumping combat with powerful builds, Outriders has that covered too. Ultimately, the strength of Outriders is how it connects to its players and what they want out of the game, meaning everyone walks away feeling different about it, and that can only be a good thing.
At first glance Outriders might look like some other shooters such as Destiny or The Division, but its complicated and diverse combat help it stand alone and impress, and with some better support and polish can easily challenge other loot shooters in the market.

Outriders is an exciting evolution of the third-person shooter genre, with thrilling sci-fi powers and satisfying gunplay that makes nearly every battle feel fast-paced and gripping until the last enemy drops. The memorable planet of Enoch alongside a steady flow of loot with plenty of promising ways to mod and enhance your weapons and armor are both strong motivators to see the game to its conclusion and beyond, even when the story does little to intrigue and the server issues plague both the solo and co-op experiences. Additional mission variety could have helped keep the game feel fresh for a little while longer, but with such deep and engaging combat that evolves alongside the player thanks to the innovative world tier system, Outriders is sure to please players looking for the next great looter shooter.
Picked this up on Gamepass, and it's honestly a pretty awesome game so far. I've been playing solo, and it's also a difficult game. The wayPicked this up on Gamepass, and it's honestly a pretty awesome game so far. I've been playing solo, and it's also a difficult game. The way I'd characterize it, it's a blend of Gears of War gunplay, with Mass Effect 3s combat using powers. The only issue I have with the game so far is that the cover mechanics are a little spotty (snapping to a spot I don't want, getting out of a spot can be a chore too). All in though, a really great shooter looter, with a pretty paper thin story. I'm excited to check out what they have in store for this game, as well as the end game. Definitely my top game to play right now! If you have Gamepass, this is a no brainer.
Outriders has its flaws, but they’re compensated with gory firefights and enjoyable co-op. Another upside is that it doesn’t try to be an open world: the levels are tight and packed with action.
Outriders is its own greatest victim. There are some decent ideas in here – an absorbing cauldron of combat variables, some majestic geography, even a few guns worth holding onto – but they're dragged down and suffocated by a game that doesn't want to entertain you but hypnotise you with the prospect of another trinket.
Outriders is a brash and bold looter shooter that will keep you entertained through the campaign and side missions, but its endgame content gets repetitive fast.
The “old gen” versions of Outriders do not have to be ashamed of the comparison with their counterparts on next gen consoles. The weight of the years in terms of hardware is felt in the framerate, the loading times as well as the displayed resolutions, which encroaches a little on the comfort of play without being crippling, quite the contrary. The game from People Can Fly and Square Enix retains on PS4 and Xbox One all the qualities and faults of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions, starting with a hard-hitting combat system, an intoxicating rise to power of the avatar, a mysterious planet Enoch, but also general instability responsible for several crashes.

Outriders is the new looter shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix. It takes you to the planet Enoch, where mankind has to fight to survive and earn its place among the wild animals and hostile factions. It's got some great ideas, but lacks an interesting story and more importantly, good loot.
At times, the game is nearly unplayable, and more than once, I’ve either crashed or watched a teammate crash at the final Drop Pod, or during a story cinematic. Still, Outriders manages to entertain far more than it frustrates. If you were like me, scoffing at the demo, thinking that there was nothing more in this shallow looter-shooter, it’s time to think again. If you’re looking for a challenge, and you don’t mind the interstellar flight to Enoch to find it, Outriders is the game for you.
Outriders has surpassed my expectations in almost every way. Months ago, I figured this would be another looter flop, but now, it’s one of the best current entries in the genre, and even with no “live service roadmap” at hand, it’s clear you could potentially extract hundreds of hours from it regardless. I plan to do just that.
One of the best looter shooters I've played in sometime. Story won't blow you away, but man is this game fun to play with friends.
If you're willing to overlook some questionable design choices, there's plenty of fun to be had with Outriders. Despite its numerous flaws, Outriders manages to provide loads of incredible, over-the-top fun.
I'm hooked. I love Outriders' shooting, skill, and loot mechanics and how they work together to form a highly addicting co-op shooter. While it has a lot of features that I'm not fond of, the core gameplay is solid enough to easily carry the rest of the experience. If you're into looter shooter or dungeon crawler games, Outriders will scratch that itch — if you can play it. With its current matchmaking and server issues, we cannot help but score it lower than we'd like. Whenever the technical issues are resolved, the experience could be as high as 8.3, making Outriders a co-op shooter that's well worth experiencing either alone or with friends.
Outriders is a rare example of a complete looter-shooter, with fun combat mechanics but a lack of ambition as you play through the story and its endgame.
Outriders is the tonic to loot-driven games that demand players log in every day. It’s also not gating content behind DLC, seasonal updates, or just pushing for players to grind to an endgame to grind some more....It’s a shooter for those that love blowing enemies to bits, and it’s an RPG for those that want to feel powerful. There’s plenty of fun to be had on Enoch, but for maximum effect, we’d suggest bringing some friends.
Outriders isn’t revolutionary, and it’s not trying to be. Outriders is a well-thought-out shooter with expertly tailored RPG twists. It's an enjoyable ride that is made infinitely better by playing with friends, but not inherently hurt by running solo either. This game takes the best parts from other looter-shooters and the best aspects of sci-fi RPGs and blends these elements into an experience that is worth diving into because of its high replayability, customizable play style, and fun story. I'm already strapping in for another run.
While Outriders doesn’t invent any new mechanics, the story is enjoyable, and the interesting classes, gear system, and world tiers make for some very challenging but fun gameplay. There were definitely a few hiccups on release day, and there are some easy alterations that can be made to make Outriders more accessible. But I would definitely recommend picking up this title.
While familiar and somewhat basic, Outriders has a lot of riveting action and a compelling gameplay loop that will satisfy people looking for their next looter shooter fix.
Is Outriders a sophisticated action game with a compelling sci-fi story? No. Does it feel fun to freeze a spider with an ice turret and shatter it with a well-placed sniper shot? You bet. Sometimes, that’s all one really wants from a shooter like this. It could use an offline mode for single-player sessions and a fair bit of maintenance, but it’s a solid foundation for an action game that respects its players’ time.

But i am not going to see it until the end because the gameplay is too average. There are also too many enemies that makes the gameplay a chore. Cover shooter? Well you dont get to cover because the enemies frequently throw granades on you, so you have to dodge over and over. Meele class? Well you dont want to meele since one ability has no hit feedback or the other ability has a sound so annoying that lets explode your head. No dialoges during combat which makes no good balance with the well written cutscenes (Gears of War does it well). Overall i would replay Division 2 or the Borderlands series instead of investing my time in Outriders.

The endgame is where this game does it better than anyone for day 1 launch. Expeditions add a unique aspect to leveling that will keep the game enjoyable and playing for hours. People are far to quick to judge a game because of a few server issues and give it a 0 without even finishing it and getting to the best part.
I actually like the game, but this game was not ready to be released. Even after the server issues have been supposedly fixed, the longest II actually like the game, but this game was not ready to be released. Even after the server issues have been supposedly fixed, the longest I have been able to play without a blue screen or a fatal disconnect is about an hour. With three people it is so much worse. Not only do you spend the majority of your time in loading screens but you end up completely bugging out quests. If the game was even a little bit less fun, I would be demanding a refund.I didn't experience the joy of playing cyberpunk at launch but I have to think this is worse.

This game is a boring as hell looter-shooter, trying to poorly combine Destiny (completely copied and pasted their inventory / equipment menus), Gears of War with Mass Effect: Andromeda when it comes the story. Unfortunately, it doesn't work - it's very pretentious and uninspired; I couldn't care less for any of the characters. Shooting is very very badly done - it's just so boring that as a kid I had imaginary shootouts with friends that were much more interesting and compelling.Graphics are also a downside, at least on Xbox One they are on par (or worse?) than Mass Effect 1, a game from 2007. Also when it comes to the server issue - the game first deleted my first character randomly due to servers going offline, but I couldn't care less because I don't really want to come back to this game. Shame.
