概要
The Rewinderは、中国の伝統的な民話にインスパイアされた2Dパズルアドベンチャーゲームです。
このゲームは、中国の水墨画の美学を模倣したピクセルアートを使用しています。プレイヤーは、「精霊の守り人」、「牛頭馬頭の守護者」、「土地の守護者」といった神話の人物に出会うことができます。
プレイヤーは、人の記憶に入り込み、その行動に影響を与える能力を持つ「リワインダー」であるチーユン役となります。感覚」を駆使し、相手の「意思」を揺さぶることで、歴史を変えていくことができます。
ストーリー
霊査士の依頼で、斉運はある小さな村に行き、霊が生まれ変われなかった理由を調査する。かつて栄えていた村は荒れ果て、恨みを抱く霊が多く、茶屋には一人の女性が残っていた。彼女は誰を待っているのだろう？他の村人たちはどこへ行ったのか？7年前に何があったのか？
